A RUNCORN sales manager is set for an intrepid road trip to the Sahara Desert.
Angela Carter, 47, of Manor Farm Mews, will complete the 11 day, 8,000km round trip next month.
She will be accompanying her brother Billy Gayter, who works as a motorbike mechanic, and Billy’s friend Steve Jones, who is employed as a tanker driver.
The team are having to fork out considerable sums of cash to fund their epic adventure.
