A MAN has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm after a week-long police hunt.
Scott Ward was arrested by Cheshire police on Friday afternoon as part of the investigation into an incident at the Waggon & Horses pub in Blacon last weekend.
Following interview by detectives, 23-year-old Scott Ward, of Wordsworth Crescent in Blacon was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and affray.
He was refused bail and appeared before magistrates in Chester on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Chester Crown Court on February 13.
Police continue to appeal for the whereabouts of his brother, 30-year-old Lee Ward from Blacon and police efforts to locate him are continuing.
