The second was white, in his late teens and about 5ft9ins tall. He was dressed in black and was wearing a baseball cap.
The third crook was white, in his early 20s, thin, about 6ft1ins tall. He had dark hair and eyebrows and a lump above his lip on the left side of his face. He was wearing a plain black cap and a black hooded coat, which was just below waist length.
Detective Constable Nick Talbot said: “We are renewing our appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it to come forward.
“It is believed that the offenders may have been trying to break into a car in Main Street prior to the assault and we would urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the identity of the offenders.
“Anyone who has any information, which might assist us with our enquiries, is urged to call Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident number 822 of January 17.
“Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
