TWO former football favourites are coming to Widnes to tell stories past and present at a sportsman’s evening.
Ex Liverpool Football Club duo and Ireland internationals John Aldridge and Jason McAteer will be talking at The Cornerhouse sports bar on Victoria Square on Good Friday, April 6 from 7pm.
For John, or ‘Aldo’ as he is affectionately known to fans, it will be his second appearance at the venue due to popular demand.
There will also be an auction and raffle to raise money for The Mark Gorry Foundation. Tickets priced £10 and are available from the venue or on 07740 353 619.
