Police fear for safety of missing Tarporley woman

POLICE are appealing for help from the public in tracing a woman reported missing in Tarporley. Joanne Taylor, 51, was reported missing yesterday afternoon. She was last seen at her place of work - Beeston Auction House in Whitchurch Road, Beeston - at around 3.45pm on Tuesday 17 January. This behaviour is out of character for Joanne and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety. Joanne is described as 5' 3" tall, of slim build with dark shoulder length hair. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT She was last seen wearing dark jeans, a dark brown jumper with a white top underneath, a dark coloured puffa style jacket and black patent high heels. It is believed that Joanne is on foot and does not have access to a vehicle. She does not have any bank cards or a mobile phone with her. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace Joanne and anyone who knows of her whereabouts, or has seen anyone matching her description, is urged to contact Cheshire Police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 674 of 17 January.
