Police hunt for armed robber who attacked Ellesmere Port newsagents

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an armed robber targeted an Ellesmere Port newsagents.
On Friday, February 5, a man walked into McColls newsagents, Old Chester Road, armed with a small kitchen knife and demanded the 69-year-old shop assistant hand over the contents of the till.
He escaped with a three-figure sum of cash.
The man was white, about 5'8'' tall, wore a grey hooded tracksuit top and used a black scarf to hide his face.
