The Met Office have issued icy roads warning for motorists in North Wales

11:57, Dec 24 2009

by Francesca Elliott, Flintshire Chronicle

MORE cold and icy weather has been predicted for North Wales over the next few days.

In response to this, The Met Office has advised motorists travelling in the region to take extra care on the roads.

In a message on their website, the public are asked to refer to Traffic Wales for further advice on road conditions.

Widespread ice will affect roads and paths across Flintshire, and road warnings have also been issued for Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Powys and Wrexham.
