Thieves steal large sum of money after raiding cashpoint at Elton Post Office

BURGLARS broke into Elton Post Office and stole a large sum of money from the cashpoint inside. Thieves targeted the Ince LanE premises at about 12.30am on Friday. They forced their way through the front door before breaking into the cashpoint. Although the alarm activated when police and keyholders arrived the offenders had already fled the scene.
