Vapour trails? That's what THEY want you to think

Dec 14 2006

By Adrian Short, Runcorn Weekly News

COULD secret military planes be flying over Halton as part of an experiment to control the weather?

Mid Cheshire-based researcher Phil Morris says he has spotted unmarked aircraft flying over the Silver Jubilee Bridge, Fiddler's Ferry power station and the industrial areas of Widnes and Runcorn, leaving thick, white, rapidly expanding 'chemtrails' which behave differently from normal condensation trails.

There is growing speculation that the chemtrails are deposited by unmarked planes flying from the USA, seeding the sky with chemicals - possibly in a bid to supress global warming, to trap pollution or for some sinister military purpose.

Mr Morris has shot hours of video footage of what he says are the strange planes in action over Cheshire and Merseyside, along the M62 corridor and beyond.

He says normal condensation trails left by commercial jets usually disappear within one minute, but the chemtrails slowly expand and leave a whispy white haze in the sky, which causes noticeable atmo-spheric changes at ground level.

Mr Morris says the silver, grey or black planes mainly operate in the milder weather between spring and autumn, fly in from the sea at sunrise along the Blackpool coast and head in a south-easterly direction towards Cheshire.

Popular theories are that the chemtrails contain barium or aluminium fibres and Mr Morris says the trails can be seen switching on and off in a controlled manner.

He said: 'The planes I have videoed leave large crosses, grids, A and H shapes in the sky that spread out slowly over hours to create fake chemical clouds.

'They fall and thicken quickly, leaving the telltale dough-nut-on-a-rope shape. They are 100% pure white in daylight and pale pink as the sun sets, while every other natural cloud has varying shades of white, grey and black plus colours as the sun sets.

'They also drift at around only 5-10% the speed of normal clouds, often in the opposite direction to all the other clouds. Also, these trails and white sheets often move in the opposite direction to all the other real clouds.'

Mr Morris points to a series of patents for technologies involving spraying aluminium powder to trap carbon dioxide, deflect the sun's rays and even improve radar and radio propagation.

And people are said to experience physical symptoms in the shadow of the weird clouds, including muscular stiffness, dizziness and tingling sensations.

Mr Morris said his claims have been dismissed by the UK authorities.
