POLICE have appealed for information over the whereabouts of a Widnes man.

David Lewis-Houghton, 49, was last seen at 9.45am on Monday at his house on Lunt’s Heath Road.

He was reported missing yesterday at 4pm.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Officers said he could be in the Ambleside area of the Lake District.

David is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He has brown shaved hair.

Inspector Iain Hannan said: “We are very concerned for David’s welfare and would appeal directly to him to get in touch so we can let his family know he is safe. Your family are very worried about you.

“We would urge anyone who may have seen David, or anyone matching his description to contact Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident number 646 of October 25.”
