BISHOP Heber High school girls’ triumph at Chester and district hockey tournament.
Six teams from the area competed for the title.
Heber started the evening well with a 3-0 win over Abbeygate. They then went on to defeat King’s School by two goals to nil.
In the semi final after some end to end play, Heber beat Queen’s School 3-0. They then went on to defeat King’s again in the final 4-0, taking their chances well.
School sports coordinator Jayne Haggis was delighted for the girls, as they had kept a clean score sheet all night and scored some very skilful goals.
