by Gary Porter, Flintshire Chronicle

ABOUT 10 suspected cannabis plants have been seized at a house in Bagillt.

Police were called to a property in Riverbank at 11.20am yesterday (Wednesday) after Flintshire County Council housing officers made the discovery. An investigation is under way, but no one has yet been arrested.

A North Wales Police spokesman said: “We had a call from Flintshire housing officers, who had discovered plants in a room that they were suspicious of.

“A small number of plants have been seized. They are in the process of being examined. They are suspected cannabis plants.”
