Cheshire firm Water Babies wins prestigious national award

A POPULAR swimming company which runs classes for parents and their new-born babies has won a national award.
For the second year running, Water Babies has scooped top prize in the prestigious What’s On 4 Little Ones Awards 2009.
The firm, which runs classes at McDonald Craxton Wood Hotel in Ledsham and the Holiday Inn in Ellesmere Port, won the Best Baby Development Activity award.
Alison Ogden, who runs the sessions with partner Tracey Allison, said: “To have won this national award again totally reflects on the dedication of the whole Water Babies team.
“It takes a lot of commitment and stamina to be a Water Babies instructor. Their dedication is reflected in just how many votes we garnered – and we’re really grateful to all our clients for taking the time to nominate us.”
She added: “When you combine all this with the unique bonding experience that swimming with your baby provides you can see why Water Babies really is the start of something extraordinary.

Water Babies’ lessons help to develop a child’s natural swimming skills right from birth through a carefully structured and fun programme.
