Coliseum Leisure Park gears up to celebrate its 10th anniversary

A CHARITY balloon race will be among the attractions at a family fun day to mark the 10th anniversary of the Coliseum Leisure Park at Cheshire Oaks. Ellesmere Port mayor Tony Sherlock will officially mark the anniversary by releasing 500 balloons at 2pm on Saturday. The event coincides with the opening weekend of new Disney Pixar movie UP, and will borrow from the film’s balloon theme. Each balloon will carry a race card in aid of Claire’s House Children’s Hospice, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary year. The owner of the card that travels the furthest and is returned to the park will win a free family trip to the Coliseum.
