THE circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in a parked car in Mickle Trafford are not suspicious, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to The Street – right next to the Travellers camp – at 6.41pm on Monday (September 3) after receiving reports of an unconscious male in a parked car.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Yesterday police said they were treating the death as ‘suspicious’.
However in a statement released today, a Cheshire Police spokesman said: “The deceased’s next of kin have now been informed. The inquest to establish the identity of the man is not yet opened but the man is believed to be a 42-year-old from the Greater Manchester area.
