A CYCLIST suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries after a collision at a roundabout near the M53 motorway.
The 56-year-old man from Ellesmere Port is described as being in a ‘serious but stable condition’ at Arrowe Park Hospital following the incident at 8.50am on Friday.
He was involved in a collision with a black Ford Fiesta at the roundabout on Rossmore Road East at junction eight of the M53.
The female motorist was not injured in the incident and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
They are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a blue car driving on the outside lane, and who may have been travelling side-to-side with the Ford Fiesta at the time of the collision.
