POLICE say enquiries are continuing into the death of a 50-year-old man found in a parked car in Mickle Trafford.

Emergency services were called to The Street in Mickle Trafford at 6.41pm on Monday, September 3 after receiving reports of an unconscious man in a parked car.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “A Home Office post mortem examination was conducted yesterday evening (Tuesday, September 4).

“The findings concluded the injuries sustained by the 50-year-old man were consistent with falling over or having an impact to the left hand side of the body.

“There is no evidence to support unlawful violence at this stage. Enquiries are continuing.”
