Fatal RTC on Central Expressway in Runcorn

A WOMAN died days after her car crashed in Runcorn. Police have appealed for witnesses after the 46-year-old passed away at Warrington Hospital. She was wounded during a collision on the Central Expressway at 12.40am on Wednesday, February 13. Officers believed only one vehicle was involved. Cheshire fire service did not attend the scene but received an abandoned call at 12.43am on February 13 that may have been related. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT PC Ian Stephenson, traffic investigator, said: “Emergency services attended the scene and a 46-year-old woman was taken to Warrington Hospital. “Sadly she died as a result of her injuries several days later. “Officers are investigating and anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident number 19 of February 13.” Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
