Guilden Sutton post office in Chester robbed at knife-point

POLICE scrambled the force helicopter to search for a suspect after an armed robbery at a village post office.
Cheshire Police are currently on scene in Guilden Sutton, on the outskirts of Chester, following reports of a raid on the post office in Summerfield Road about 10am this morning (Monday).
A Constabulary spokeswoman said initial reports suggested an offender committed a robbery after entering the premises armed with a knife. Police are now searching for the suspect who is believed to have left on foot.
