A 47-year-old man from Hale, near Altrincham, has appearing in court charged with the murder of Cranage businesswoman Diana Lee.
David Ryan, of Byrom Street, appeared before South Cheshire Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday) charged in connection with the death of the 54-year-old Parklands Cattery owner.
Mrs Lee’s body was discovered in the garage of her Cranage home following a fire at the property on the morning of Thursday, August 9.
Ryan, who spoke only to confirm his name and address during the short hearing, has been remanded in police custody.
The case has been committed to Chester Crown Court and a preliminary hearing will be heard on Monday, September 24.
