Man arrested after secnd weekend of car vandalism in Frodsham

A FRODSHAM man has been arrested after more than 60 cars’ tyres were slashed with a knife leaving people facing thousands of pounds worth of repairs.
Police launched a manhunt after residents living in Ashton Drive and Ship Street, Frodsham woke on Monday, September 17 to find their tyres ruined.
At the time of the attack, police were searching for a gang of hooded youths after residents reported seeing a group standing in the street holding knives.
Now, police have arrested a 55-year-old local man, after more cars were vandalised in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Dozens of outraged residents are now facing hefty bills to replace the tyres on their cars, some of which had as many as three wheels slashed again just days after the new tyres had been fitted.
Police in Hampshire are trying to track down the owner of a life-size stuffed toy tiger which sparked a huge alert in response to fears it was a real animal which had escaped....
