A MAN killed in a road traffic collision in Chester last weekend was from Ellesmere Port.
Russell Hancock, 54, believed to be of Church Street, was killed after his HGV lorry collided with a traffic light at the A55 Post House roundabout on Friday evening.
Emergency crews had battled for several minutes to cut Mr Hancock free from the vehicle but he died at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or was in the area at the time of the incident and has seen anything significant to get in touch.
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 955 of 10 August.
