Man loses front teeth in vicious attack in Ellesmere Port

A MAN has lost his two front teeth after being repeatedly punched during a vicious assault.

The 31-year-old victim was walking along Wharfe Lane in Ellesmere Port when he was approached by about eight men at 1am on Sunday (September 2).

One of the men punched him in the face, which caused him to fall to the floor.

The same attacker then punched him several more times before fleeing with the rest of the group.

The victim, who also sustained cuts to the face, was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital and has since been discharged.

The offender is described as white, in his mid-20s and of slim build. He was bald and wearing a light coloured T-shirt.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 88 of September 2.
