Police appeal following Ellesmere Port fish bar burglary

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary which took place in Ellesmere Port on Monday (October 1).
At about 10.05pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Sea Waves Fish Bar on Church Street while the staff were in the kitchen area at the back of the premises.
The man opened the till and stole cash before jumping over the counter and escaping.
A second man was stood in the doorway of the premises during the incident.
The two men were seen to run along Church Street and down the alleyway that runs parallel to Westminster Road, leading to Wilkinson Street North.
No one was threatened or injured during the incident.
The first man is described as young and was wearing a hooded jumper.
No description of the second man is available at present.
