Police appeal over assault in The Woodland pub, Ellesmere Port

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Ellesmere Port. At about 5.20pm on Saturday two men were involved in an altercation in the toilets of The Woodland public house. One man chased the other out of the toilets, around the pub then outside. One of the men is believed to have suffered a head injury as a result of the incident. Police are keen to trace both of the men who were involved. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT The first man is described as white, aged about 20, 6ft 1in tall and with a muscular build. He had short, shaved hair that was blond or brown and was wearing a pale blue T-shirt with dark jeans. The second man is described as white, aged about 30, 5ft 8in tall and with a thin build. He was wearing a black tracksuit. Anyone with information should call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 1123 of November 10, 2012. Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
