Police concern for missing Ellesmere Port man

08:53, Jul 6 2012

by Gary Porter, Ellesmere Port Pioneer

A 63-YEAR-OLD man from Ellesmere Port has gone missing.

Anthony Lewis from Whitby was last seen yesterday (Thursday, July 5) and is believed to have travelled to the North Wales area in his car, a silver BMW with the registration R921 LFM.

Inspector Darren Griffiths said: “We are very concerned for Anthony’s wellbeing.

“His behaviour is totally out of character and urge anyone who may have seen him or his car since yesterday afternoon to come forward and contact us.

“Similarly, I would appeal to Anthony himself to make contact with Cheshire police or your nearest police station to reassure us that you are safe.”

If you have any information call Cheshire police on 101, quoting incident 871 of July 5.
