A TEENAGE girl from Runcorn who was threatening to jump off the busway bridge over Halton Brow has been talked down by police.
A police spokeswoman said: “At 10.56pm today (Thursday) police were called to the busway bridge on The Brow in Runcorn, following concerns for the welfare of a teenager.
“Temporary road closures were put in place and specially trained officers attempted to speak to the teenage girl who was on the wrong side of the bridge.
“At 12.50pm the girl moved down off the bridge and is safe and well.
