ŠOFFICERS from the Chester Neighbourhood Policing Team are taking action after a number of cycle thefts at the city’s railway station.
Sergeant Sean Morgan said: “There has been a recent increase in the number of thefts at the station, but we are determined to limit further opportunities for criminals.”
To tackle the issue, the NPT is set to host a day of action tomorrow (Tuesday, September 21) to give cyclists free crime-busting advice.
Sgt Morgan added: “Our officers will be out and about from 8-10am and 4-6pm to pass on advice to cyclists using the rail network.
“We will also have a crime reduction advisor on hand to mark frames.
