Three arrested in police drugs raids in Elton

THREE people have been arrested in drugs raids in Elton. Today, Tuesday, February 9, officers from the Western Rural Neighbourhood Policing team executed two warrants at two addresses in Elton. A man, a woman and 14-year-old boy were arrested and are in custody awaiting interview. Inspector Phil Hodgson said: “A significant number of cannabis plants have been seized from properties on Marsh Lane and Redwood Drive, Elton. “The success behind todays drug operation is a result of community intelligence and a dedicated team of officers here in the Western Rural policing area where our aim is to disrupt and dismantle the activities of those who engage in, and profit from illegal drug activity.”
