Van rammed repeatedly on Canterbury Road in Widnes

A BLUE car rammed a red van as it passed through Widnes say police.

A Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman said the victims, a 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were driving along Canterbury Road when a blue car appeared near the junction Abbey Road and drove several times into the car’s rear and side.

The victims suffered back and neck injuries as a result of the incident but did not need hospital treatment.

Investigators are treating the incident as criminal damage.

Anyone with any information should call Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident number 1013 of October 6.

Witnesses can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
