A WIDNES pensioner was amused after a suspected scamster tried to persuade him to share $10.5m.
Jack Hughes, of Netherfield, said his first thought after he read the letter was ‘who the hell is Huo Ho?’
The missive arrived last Thursday to the bafflement of Mr Hughes.
The pensioner said he realised it was a scam straight away because of its odd wording.
Mr Ho, who claimed to work for a finance company in Hong Kong, said that anAlbert Hughes had died in a car accident in China and left the fortune sitting in a bank account.
