A CHESHIRE man has been named as the worst spammer in Britain.
Brett Sandiford has been accused of sending out 20 million emails a year through his marketing consultancy company In4tech Solutions based in Hooton, Cheshire.
More than 50,000 spam emails a day are sent out to UK addresses by the company from banks of computers in China and America, according to internet security companies. They add to huge numbers of unwanted emails in the UK, which make up 25% of all email messages received in the country.
But Mr Sandiford told a national newspaper his company was not doing anything wrong.
He said: "I only send to UK business addresses. We only sell commercial products such as contract car hire. We don't sell Viagra or anything like that.
