Female president elected

A WOMAN has been elected president of Winsford and Middlewich Rotary Club for the first time in its 59-year history.

Julie Williams, of Merlin Close, Winsford, officially took over from retiring former president George Sankey at a 'hand over' ceremony at Portal Golf Club held at Tarporley last night.
