MPs help run Trust's prize draw

Jul 4 2007

The Chronicle

VALE Royal MPs Stephen O'Brien and Mike Hall brought their lucky touch to a prize draw for Weaver Vale Housing Trust customers on Friday.

The Trust is five years old this month and is giving away 60 prizes to customers to commemorate the milestone.

MP for Weaver Vale Mike Hall and Eddisbury MP Stephen O'Brien were on hand to pick out the lucky winners. All Trust customers were entered into the prize draw at the Trust's Gadbrook Park offices.

Prizes including a laptop, leisure passes, beauty vouchers, a signed Everton Football Club picture, champagne and shopping vouchers were handed out to customers.

It is a double celebration for the Trust, which is also celebrating the fulfilment of promises it made when it was set up in 2002 with the transfer of housing stock from Vale Royal Borough Council.

Weaver Vale Housing Trust is now the largest registered social landlord in Cheshire, providing 6,000 homes in Vale Royal.
