Officers to tackle anti-social yobs

Jul 4 2007

The Chronicle

POLICE and their partners will join forces next week and take to the streets of Winsford once again in a bid to stamp out anti-social behaviour.

Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Phil Hambleton will be joined by representatives from Vale Royal Borough Council, community safety wardens and residents when he pounds the beat in Wharton on July 13.

The team is on the lookout for signs of problems including graffiti, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

He said: 'The walks help us pick up on any problems that may be having an impact in a community.'
