NORTHWICH Rotary Club's outgoing president Frank Smith was given a rousing send-off at a social evening he organised for local dignitaries.
The performers included The County High School Jazz Band from Leftwich, winners of this year's Rotary District Youth Makes Music.
Others taking part included the award-winning Cheshire Cheer Leaders squad, the Youth Speaks finalists from Sir John Deane's College and violinist and Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar Jun Ichiro Watakiki, currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
Another highlight of the evening was the presentation to Bernard Keogh of the Paul Harris Fellowship, the Rotary movement's highest accolade awarded for services to Rotary and the community.
