ROWING: THE Grange School entered 32 rowers into the Indoor Rowing Championships at the Manchester Velodrome and returned with nine medals.

The Concept Two Grand Prix event attracted 350 junior rowers aged nine to 17 and in Fiona Hill (Junior 18 Lightweight), Edward Ford (J14), Josh Goldman (J13) and Richard Digby (J13), they had outright winners.

The rowers had to cover 2,000m or 500m (Under 13s) on the rowing machines.

Silvers were won by Kirsty Atherton, John Ford, Sam Goodman, Christina Spencer, Tom Ford and bronze by Dominic Williams.

John and Edward Ford and Sam and Josh Goodman are two sets of twins.
