Northwich Chronicle

 

ROWING: Northwich have contested autumn heads at Runcorn and Chester recently, but with only one winner.

The J16 coxed quad of Nicola Plant, Victoria Lindholt, Anna Ward, Sarah Patrick and cox Laura Forrest won on the Weaver at Runcorn, but the club was out of the honours on the River Dee. The Grange School were on form at both events.

Runcorn winners were J15 sculler Edward Ford, J16 sculler Tom Kellett, J14 coxed quad Cara Webb, Harriet Tindale, Christina Spencer, Lara Pointon & cox Laura Oliver; J14 double Sarah Hewitt & Sarah Hickson; J15 double Edward & John Ford; J16 double Will Rowe & Kellet.

At Chester, triumphant were: J15 quad Annabel Toleman, Caroline Taylor, Talya Jeffrey, Anna Dalzell and cox James Royal; J15 double John & Edward Ford; Novice double Deepika Reddy & Jenny Johnson; J16 double Sophie Mottram & Caroline Paterson; J14 quad Josh Robinson, Josh Goodman, Will Frisk, Dominic Williams and cox Anna Dalzell; J15 quad John Ford, Edward Ford, Tom Kellett, Anish Khandia and cox Laura Oliver.
