ONLY 12 weeks after his appointment, Neil Redfearn has resigned as manager of the Blue Square Premier bottom club Northwich Victoria.
Ex-Barnsley, Oldham and Charlton player Redfearn, 42, took over in mid-June and quit after Vics’ seventh successive defeat – 3-1 at home to Histon.
Signed by Redfearn last week on a non-contract basis, former Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham veteran Paul Warhurst, 38, made his debut against Histon and now finds himself in temporary charge for the visit to Halifax tonight.
