Tarporley Victoria 3 Daten 1

Sep 7 2007

Chester Chronicle

THERE were few scares for Vics as they enjoyed a comfortable home victory on Saturday.

The home side always looked dangerous and took the lead when John Paul Podvoiskis pounced on a defensive mix-up.

Daten enjoyed plenty of possession without threatening and fell further behind to a goal from Alex Moore.

Although the visitors were thrown a lifeline just before the break when they pulled one back, the game opened up in the second half and Vics always looked like scoring.

They hit goal number three when Jack Oakden finished off some good work by Henry Buckley.

Vics are away to Broadheath Central tomor row. n Malpas were without a Cheshire League fixture on Saturday but they return to action tomorrow. Alan Smith's men travel to Abbey Hey, Gorton, to take on FC United of Manchester Reserves (3pm).
