FOUR friends have teamed up for an operatic show. Kirsten Lett, Lauren Smith, Becky Hardman and Sammy Dowd are taking part in Castaway Theatre Company's production of Pirates of Penzance at the Chester Gateway from January 23-27.
They became firm friends through performing in many shows in the region.
Between them they have a vast experience of theatre and television roles, including Honk, Bugsy Malone, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Scrooge.
Over the years they kept meeting at summer workshops and auditions and all now attend Chester Stagecoach Theatre Arts.
The production of Pirates of Penzance will be Castaway's last show at the Gateway Theatre, closing for good in March.
A Castaway spokesman said: 'The cast is full of talented youngsters from the Chester, North Wales and Wirral area. It's definitely one to look forward to.'
The show runs from Tuesday to Saturday, January 23-27. Tickets are on sale now from the box office on 01244 340392.
