AS UGLY Sisters Trinny and Susanna in the Lyceum's Christmas pantomime Cinderella, the Lavelle Brothers certainly do need to be told what not to wear.
The talented double act are revelling at the boos and hisses at Crewe's beautiful Edwardian theatre, as Cinder's hideously dressed step-sisters in the run until January 3.
Real life twins John and Jim Lavelle, both 57, started their careers in 1972 as singers with the original Black and White Minstrel Show.
They spent three years with the Minstrels, culminating in a season at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London's West End.
Over the years they have toured with Danny La Rue, worked with Tommy Steele and devised their own act which they perform in theatres, cabaret venues and holiday camps all over the UK and in Spain, Portugal and the Middle and Far East.
