FOOTBALL finally makes way for comedy at Winnington Park Rec tomorrow when DAN's Ribticklers Comedy Club bounces back into its monthly slot. The line-up is the same as the one lined up for Thursday, June 24, which had to be cancelled due to England's crucial game in Euro 2004.
Headlining the evening will be Russell Howard, a finalist in the BBC New Comedy awards and an effusive ball of energy with an infectious brand of humour.
The support act will be Jason Manford, winner of the North West Comedian of the Year Award.
MC is Dom Carroll, a former trainee funeral director who realised that he was better in front of a live audience. Tickets are £5, £4 concessions, and are available from the DAN office in Northwich Library, or by calling Nick Hughes on 01606 41597.
